Madagascar offers a wide range of seaside tourism with its 5,000 km of coastline. Whatever the type of trip of your choice, it is always nice to end the holiday by the sea. The most popular places around Toliary are Ifaty and Anakao, Taolagnaro (Fort Dauphin) in the extreme South for those who travel to the deep South of Madagascar, Nosy Be and the island of Nosy Boraha (Sainte Marie) for most cases . Whale watching is done between July and late September especially around Nosy Boraha island where it is best, but other regions like Anakao, Ifaty, Antsanitia and Nosy Be also offer the same possibility during the same period.
